Install Pulse
Add Pulse to
your home screen.
Pulse is a web app, so you do not need the App Store or Play Store to install it. Add it once and it sits on your phone like any other app. Works offline too.
On iPhone or iPad
- 1Open pulse.aqta.ai in Safari (not Chrome on iPhone — Safari only on iOS).
- 2Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
- 3Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
- 4Tap Add in the top right. Pulse appears on your home screen with the proper icon.
On Android
If you opened Pulse in Chrome, a small Install pill appears at the bottom of the screen. Tap Add and you are done. If you missed it:
- 1Open Pulse in Chrome (or Edge) on your phone.
- 2Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
- 3Choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- 4Confirm. Pulse opens like a native app from now on.
On your laptop or desktop
Chrome or Edge will show a small install icon in the address bar when you visit pulse.aqta.ai. Click it. Pulse becomes a window of its own and lives in your dock or taskbar.
Why install at all?
- One tap to take a Pulse, instead of typing the URL.
- Works offline. You can take a Pulse on a plane, in a basement, in a clinic with bad signal. It syncs when you reconnect.
- The Pulse logo appears on your home screen like any other app.
- No App Store, no Play Store, no separate download. Removing it is also one tap.
- No background tracking. Pulse only does anything when you open it.
